Sleep In Your Own Bed Cycling Camp v2

Back by it's own sheer awesomeness, I've put together a very compelling butt toning and tan enhancing ride collection to begin on June 5. You could call this #SIYOBCC but I prefer 'Sleep In Your Own Bed Cycling Camp'. (or ride Bob back into shape) You can drop in for any/all of this . We have an incredible back yard, why travel, spend money on conveyance, food, lodging and tips for your camp guides when you can just sleep at home and ride awesome stuff? Right! Let's do this:

Monday, June 5 - Palomar 2 ways, with a side of Cole Slaw. We leave Kit Carson Park at 7:30am. Park under the solar shades between the baseball diamonds. You will thank me when we return. Here’s the link to the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21464540

Tuesday, June 6 - Boulevard and a Kitchen with Lake Views. We leave from Pine Valley at 7:30am. Park at Pine Valley Motel parking lot. Here’s the link to the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21464651

Wednesday, June 7 - Hint of Stale Waffle. We leave from the corner of Via de la Valle, and Camino Del Mar (101) at 7:30am. Park on the street, ride from home, I would say let’s leave from a coffee shop, but we might not leave at all. This is the longest day as far as miles.  114miles, 8508 feet. Here’s the link to to this awesome route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21465127

Thursday, June 8 - Palomar and Montezuma. Who puts these two together, well, I guess we do! 102.8 mi +10688 ft of awesome. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21465268

Friday, June 9 - Recovery Century. We start at Roberto’s Mexican Restaurant on Carmel Valley Road at 7:30am. We plan on having a nice sit down lunch at Olemendi’s Mexican in Dana Point, but first we need to look at the harbor from the top. Make sure to have your ID with you, and if you haven’t done so lately, please register your name at this link. https://mccscp.wufoo.com/forms/camp-pendleton-bike-route-access-form/  to gain access to Camp Pendleton in both directions. Here’s the link to the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21466091

Saturday, June 10 - GitHo Ride (as called) Not sure yet, but it won’t be easy, and there will be some fresh legs looking for revenge.

There you have it. Some serious butt toning is in store for the select group that do all the miles. In fact, any one of these days is a very good day on the bike. This is beautiful time to ride in San Diego County. Fitness will follow, after a few adult recovery beverages….

If you decide to ride, all I ask is that you bring a little extra each day for Jared of Bicycle Mobile Works (check out his link) We are booking the ‘Full Carlos’, and that means sammys for lunch, beverages, etc. I’m hoping that we get a few folks, and that we can divide it up, if not, I’m in for covering his expense to keep him happy, and put fuel in his wallet. Please RSVP by 3pm the prior day so we can get a handle on food requirements. Email me at gliderking@mac.com or text me at 858.361.7233 if you are coming.
